Project Overview
A three-day content production capturing the full Hotel Belmar experience in Monteverde, Costa Rica. From wilderness hikes and horseback riding to their sustainable farm and farm-to-table dining, we created cinematic video and photography that showcased the property, its people, and the experiences that make Belmar unique—culminating in a hero promotional film built to market the destination across digital platforms.
Sustainability Rooted in Place
Hotel Belmar - Monteverde, Costa Rica
Over the course of three days in Monteverde, Costa Rica, we immersed ourselves in the full Hotel Belmar experience from the cloud forest and wilderness trails to horseback rides, sustainable farming, and farm-to-table dining. Rather than simply documenting the property, the goal was to capture what it actually feels like to stay at Belmar: waking up surrounded by nature, exploring the landscape, connecting with the people and land behind the hotel, and experiencing the thoughtful details that make the destination unique.
The production took us beyond the hotel itself and into Finca Madre Tierra, Belmar’s sustainable farm, where we documented the connection between the land and the food eventually served to guests. We captured the farming process, animals, horseback riding, local agriculture, ingredients, and the people who bring the experience to life. We also ventured into the surrounding wilderness for a full outdoor adventure, creating imagery that showcased Monteverde as an integral part of the Belmar experience, not simply a backdrop.
The result was a comprehensive collection of high-end photography and cinematic video content, culminating in a hero promotional film designed to sell the complete Hotel Belmar experience. In just three days, we created a versatile visual library that can be used across the hotel’s website, social media, digital advertising, travel marketing, PR, and future campaigns. The content was built to do more than showcase a beautiful hotel, it was designed to communicate the story, sustainability, adventure, hospitality, and sense of place that make Hotel Belmar truly distinctive.
The project ultimately gave Belmar a body of evergreen visual content capable of marketing the property from multiple angles: luxury travel, adventure tourism, sustainable hospitality, farm-to-table dining, wellness, and authentic Costa Rican experiences.
